WE LOVE JUNE BRIDES

We were happy to host the wedding reception of Nicole Vorpahl and Collin Kelly-Gordon on Friday, June 19, 2009. The ceremony was held at Bell Rock with lovely views of Sedona’s Red Rocks. The weather couldn’t have been better with partly cloudy skies with deep blue highlights.

The wedding reception was held beneath the lights on the Calle Independencia. Rosalie’s of Sedona did a wonderful job setting up the reception and providing delicious food for the guests. Each guest received a box of Godiva Chocolates as a wedding favor. Each table was designated by a special Sedona location, famous for its Red Rocks.

The cake was created by Donna Joy, Sedona Sweet Arts. Floral provided by Amy Mills with Bliss Extraordinary Floral. Music was provided by Shane Brandolini and the guests danced up a storm throughout the night. Heather Kadar captured the special moments of the wedding of Nicole and Collin photographically.

Saturday evening, June 20th, Celeste Nuanez and Manuel Herrera shared their wedding vows on the Patio de las Campanas with a ceremony performed by Reverend Shanandoah Sterling. Mariachi’s performed throughout the patio in celebration of Celeste and Manuel’s wedding.

Following the ceremony, guests were asked to join the wedding party on the Calle Independencia for the wedding reception. Heartline Cafe catered the dinner for Celeste and Manuel. Guests were entertained by Mariachis and later in the evening, Jam N Sounds spinned the music for all to enjoy.

We are evaluating the current health situtation daily and value the safety of our guests, merchants, and community. DAY OF THE DEAD & MARIGOLD MURAL PROJECT

Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Village has provided the perfect setting for south of the border fiestas, festivals, and cultural extravaganzas for the last four decades. Unfortunately, this year we are dealing with the unprecedented COVID pandemic and must pause our highly attended Day of the Dead celebration. There's good news though! Our annual Marigold Mural project is back this year with a NEW SAFE AND EXCITING FORMAT. Join us on Wednesday, November 4 through Saturday, November 7, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Calle Independencia. This project is unique to Tlaquepaque and an artful way to remember your loved ones. The artist Lovejoy will be in attendance again this year, handing out markers as she guides and answers questions regarding the mural and your contributions. Face masks and sanitizer will also be available for those who need them.
