HELPING MAKE MAGICAL MOMENTS
MEET TWO OF TLAQUEPAQUE'S EXCLUSIVE WEDDING VENDORS

Events at Tlaquepaque are made all the more memorable by the event planning and food the guests enjoy. Whether attending an engagement party or wedding, the beauty of Tlaquepaque’s architecture and grounds is enhanced when the guest’s culinary experience is as artful and delightful as the surroundings. Here are a couple of our exclusive vendors who make that possible.
ATLASTA CATERING & EVENTS CONCEPTS
A SUSTAINABLE CATERING COMPANY DOING THINGS DIFFERENTLY
A Tlaquepaque Wedding exclusive vendor, Phoenix-based Atlasta takes an innovative approach to catering and event planning. With a passion for community and the environment, they are leading the way in sustainable catering. Helping Brides, Grooms, and their guests to celebrate knowing they are supporting the local community and being good guardians of the environment. Atlasta brings joy in the moment and through their mission.

Steve Short, the owner of Atlasta and an award-winning chef, is the company's visionary. He grew up in the kitchen of his father's Phoenix BBQ-style restaurant. There he learned first-hand about the joys, challenges, and responsibilities of working in the foodservice industry. In 2009, he had an epiphany, largely brought on by the recession's impact, Steve shifted Atlasta's focus to sustainability. "I thought it would be simple," he says, "but I soon discovered it was an all-encompassing, enormously complex undertaking." He got help from outside sources, and Atlasta successfully achieved its zero-landfill status, where it remains today.

Steve and his team continually look at how they can lessen environmental impact, and best serve the community by donating time, money, and service to those who need it most. At the same time, they never lose sight of their dedication to providing high-quality, creative food and curated experiences. As passionate as they are about the environment, they are about sourcing the freshest farm-to-table ingredients and expertly preparing them into dishes that, as they note, "delight the senses and satisfy the appetite."

Like many businesses, Atlasta has had to evolve and adapt during the pandemic. Some of the options they offer include fully-serviced buffets behind plexiglass, individually packaged and covered meals, and creative seating arrangements. They have also launched Atlasta Fast Lane, which brings their farm-fresh tastes, boxed meals, and packaged buffets directly to their customers across the Valley of The Sun.
ONE OF ATLASTA'S FAVORITE SPRING & SUMMER MENU ITEMS—WATERMELON ROSEMARY LEMONADE

Fresh lemon juice, fresh watermelon, a hint of sugar and an infusion of rosemary make this perfect for spring and summer, truly refreshing.

ROSALIE'S OF SEDONA
MAKING EVENTS AT TLAQUEPAQUE DELICIOUS & UNFORGETTABLE
Rosalie’s of Sedona is one of Tlaquepaque Art & Shopping Village’s exclusive catering partners. They are masters of creating memorable experiences with their expert event planning, design, and execution. Bonnie Grant, the company’s founder and director, can be seen on the Tlaquepaque grounds as she and her team intently set up these events.

One of the only fully licensed and insured off-premise caterers in the immediate area, Bonnie and her team pride themselves on their ability to understand their clients’ needs and help achieve their vision through the design of unique, delightful events. Having owned and run a restaurant before, Bonnie is deeply passionate about food, as well as putting her clients first, working under pressure, and solving problems in-the-moment. Her food and event experiences garner many accolades. Clients note that Rosalie’s of Sedona is “amazing,” and “delectable,” as well as being a “truly full service” company that works tirelessly to make their client relationships as easy and effortless as possible. Bonnie’s unwavering approach is to always start with quality ingredients that produce a superior product. “I love creating unique menus and new food recipes,” Bonnie explains, “The most important detail to me is that we stay true to this vision and always serve quality, hot food. This means that some items and styles of food will not present well or taste the same when served to a large group. This is a critical detail in catering and one we pay attention to in order to retain the quality of our food and presentation.” They address these constraints innovatively as they work closely with their clients to bring their vision, desired food, and event style to life in a beautiful, cost-effective, and tasty way. No event is too large or too small for Rosalie’s of Sedona, they will cater the most intimate of receptions to the most extravagant of occasions. Exquisite food, expert coordination, and gracious service are always provided.
TLAQUEPAQUE HAS SUCH A UNIQUE FEEL AND OFFERS AN AMAZING PALETTE TO START DESIGNING FROM. NO MATTER THE LOCATION, ONCE WE HAVE COMPLETED THE SET UP IN THIS AMAZING PLACE, WE CANNOT HELP BUT BE PROUD OF THE END RESULT."

We are evaluating the current health situtation daily and value the safety of our guests, merchants, and community. We ask that you check our website at tlaq.com/events before October 27 to monitor updates. Tlaquepaque is an open-air venue; however, all attendees will need to manage social distancing and masking accordingly.

Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Village has provided the perfect setting for south of the border fiestas, festivals, and cultural extravaganzas for the last four decades. Unfortunately, this year we are dealing with the unprecedented COVID pandemic and must pause our highly attended Day of the Dead celebration. There's good news though! Our annual Marigold Mural project is back this year with a NEW SAFE AND EXCITING FORMAT. Join us on Wednesday, November 4 through Saturday, November 7, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Calle Independencia. This project is unique to Tlaquepaque and an artful way to remember your loved ones. The artist Lovejoy will be in attendance again this year, handing out markers as she guides and answers questions regarding the mural and your contributions. Face masks and sanitizer will also be available for those who need them.

The Micro-Wedding Plan a bite-sized version of a traditional wedding and celebrate with 50 or fewer of your closest friends and family. Usually, a shorter timeline (3 hours instead of 5), these intimate events still include a ceremony and celebration with flowers, cake, music, and more, and can be designed to your liking. Bonuses: More time to spend with each of your guests A more affordable solution or an opportunity to allocate money to the things you care about the most (you no longer have 150 people coming, so you can spend more money on your dress!) Less to plan and manage which can mean less stress For the eco-conscious, a smaller carbon footprint
