The wedding ceremony was held on the Patio de las Campanas in front of 40 of their closest family members and friends. Jim and Ken from Events by Showstoppers created an amazing rose petal carpet runner for the lovely bride. The colors and pattern was spectacular and a Tlaquepaque first.

Showstoppers also created a lovely floral archway for the wedding ceremony. Rev. Andrew Murphy, Heart of Sedona Weddings , performed the ceremony and added a very personal touch to the wedding. Photographer, Pamela Duffy , captured the moments during the wedding ceremony and portrayed Allan and Jessica’s happiness throughout the morning.

The delicious wedding brunch was prepared by Heartline Cafe. The unique tables and unbrellas were provided by TriRentals in Phoenix. Music was played by Charlie Williams during the brunch overlooking the fountain in the Patio del Norte. A special pine tree seedling was given out to each guest as a special wedding favor. Allan and Jessica thought this special gift would be enjoyed by all their guests. One highlight of the reception was the lovely wedding cake prepared by Donna Joy, Sedona Sweet Arts , adorned by handmade sugar flowers.

DAY OF THE DEAD & MARIGOLD MURAL PROJECT

Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Village has provided the perfect setting for south of the border fiestas, festivals, and cultural extravaganzas for the last four decades. Unfortunately, this year we are dealing with the unprecedented COVID pandemic and must pause our highly attended Day of the Dead celebration. There's good news though! Our annual Marigold Mural project is back this year with a NEW SAFE AND EXCITING FORMAT. Join us on Wednesday, November 4 through Saturday, November 7, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Calle Independencia. This project is unique to Tlaquepaque and an artful way to remember your loved ones. The artist Lovejoy will be in attendance again this year, handing out markers as she guides and answers questions regarding the mural and your contributions. Face masks and sanitizer will also be available for those who need them.
