There’s nothing quite like falling head over heels in love. Sometimes that love is so strong you just want to run off and get married immediately. Eloping can be crazy and romantic, but there’s still some planning that needs to happen. Yes, it’s true! If you ever considered a destination for your elopement, consider Tlaquepaque’s Chapel in Sedona, Arizona.

Tlaquepaque’s “Simply I Do” elopement package will keep your spirits and hearts soaring since we simplified the details for your special day. Charming, intimate and romantic, the Tlaquepaque Chapel partnered with our Star-winning restaurant, Rene at Tlaquepaque, will make for a most memorable evening.

Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village is located in Sedona, Arizona which is on the list of the most beautiful places to live in the Southwest. Even better yet, with the red rocks soaring around the city, Tlaquepaque has been the treasure within Sedona for the past 47 years. By having your wedding ceremony with our stunning Mexican style architecture,, surrounded by magnificent sycamore trees as a backdrop, and surrounded by unforgettable vine-covered terra cotta-colored walls, cobblestone pathways and magical courtyards, Tlaquepaque guests to another century.

Your “Simply I Do” package will be timeless, starting at the Tlaquepaque Chapel, an oasis of heavenly serenity nestled within Tlaquepaque’s walls, the perfect location for truly intimate ceremony. Looking through the intricate, wrought-iron gates the bridal couple will be transported to another place in time. The giant, antique doors are flung wide open beneath the carved stone arch of the non-denominational Chapel.   Each bridal couple has the Chapel for ninety minutes.

The package includes the bridal bouquet and boutonniere. Our florist has been serving Sedona since 2001 and will make certain that the flowers are only of the highest quality using only what is in season. The Bride selects the color and the bouquet stem will be satin wrapped to match her dress. As always, additional floral arrangements can be added for a fee.

Dinner will be served at the landmark Rene Restaurant at Tlaquepaque.

Once the Bride and Groom have said their “I Do’s”, they will be enthralled by the lovely wedding peal playing from our bell tower as they exit the Chapel. Exquisite dinner will then be served for you and your guests  at the landmark Rene Restaurant at Tlaquepaque. An award winning establishment for over 35 years, owner and Chef, Walter Paulson,  will serve a delightful three-course meal including a bottle of champagne. Additional guests can be added for an additional fee for a maximum of six persons. Indoor and outdoor dining is available.

Of course, the evening wouldn’t be complete without the tastiest part, the wedding cake. Our cake designer Andrea Carusetta, owner of Sedona Cake Couture, is the ultimate baker.  Andrea has appeared on numerous television shows and was a two time medalist on Food Network Challenge and Grand Champion on TLC Channel’s Ultimate Cake off.    Each Bride and groom selects their favorite cake flavor and icing. Andrea even encourages the happy couple to submit a photo of the desired type of cake design to make all of your wedding dreams come true.
