Ikebana Bowl
Stephen Gartner and Danielle Blade have been combining their individual ideas, techniques and experiences to create original hand-blown and sculpted glass pieces for over 10 years. The inspiration for many of their pieces comes from their mutual fascination with the use of found objects in the rituals of primitive cultures. Each Ikebana is a hand-blown Japanese flower vase. The center of the bowl contains solid brass pins which allow the user to display the flowers to their preference, with greater creativity, and for low lying as well as tall arrangements. Each hand-blown bowl is both beautiful and highly functional.
