![]() June 12th - Celebration of Native American Music and Dance![]() The Yellow Bird Apache Dancers perform from 10:30 to 11:00 AM, 12:00 - 12:30 PM, 1:30 - 2:00 PM, and 3:00 - 3:30 PM in Plaza de la Fuente. Kevin Duncan, four-time world champion hoop dancer and the current World Champion teen hoop dancer, spins 25 colored hoops in a blur of dance and high intensity movement that is mind-boggling. Not to mention the dancers creative depictions of several animal forms including the eagle and rattlesnake. This is a must-see phenomenon! The richly constume Nuvatukya'ovi Sinom Dance Group from the Hopi Nation will perform the traditional Water Maiden Dance. The costumes are handmade by the dancers and they depict clouds to the bring forth the rain. Performances will be at 1:00p.m and 3:00 p.m. in Plaza de la Fuente. Clarence Clearwater, Navajo guitarist and singer, will perform in Patio de Las Campanas from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m followed by Grammy nominated Kelvin Mockingbird. Kelvin will be performing with the Native American Flute and telling Medecine stories of the Dineh.
