![]() June 7th - Andrea Smith Gallery hosts Dr. Gary Greenberg![]() Dr Greenberg is a professor at the King Kamehameha Hawaiian schools in Maui, Hawaii. He has developed a certain type of lens for the camera and microscope that enables him to take pictures of a grain of sand , or a cucumber seed magnifying it up to 400 times it's original size. He has turned this into a wonderful art, making Giclee, limited edition prints of his subjects. It could be a slice of a strawberry, or an orchid flower. It is amazing to see these wonderful works of art. Dr Gary Greenberg, who holds several patents on microscopes, and microscopic photography sensors, is an author with a new book that just came out entitled "A Grain of Sand", Natures secret wonder.the forward is by Stacy Keach, and the writing, and all the photography is by Dr Greenberg. Join us and welcome Dr. Greenberg to the Andrea Smith Gallery.
