November 5th - Nicholas Coleman and Ty Barhaug-- Sunset Skies and Teepees

416049598
November is the perfect time of the year to feature a two-man show by two young painters who invigorate with their newness, the art of painting the West-- from teepees to sunsets that blazen the night skies. Nicholas Coleman is the son of prominent artist, Michael Coleman and has been featured in numerous publications. His paintings begin with the realism and detail that his father is known for, and then become something totally unique and synonymous to the name Nicholas Coleman—a blend of a little impressionism and lot of tone and mood.

Ty Barhaug, originally from Wyoming, fosters a true appreciation for nature and wilderness, coupled with a lifetime love of art--his way of seeing translates into paintings that command ones full attention. Some of his favorite themes are teepees where an inner glowing fire can be seen, or the glow like brilliance of colors in the sky from the setting sun, or the refraction of sun on burning autumn hued tree leave clusters. Barhaug can also claim numerous publications and among his honors, participation and multiple awards from the annual Buffalo Bill Art Show and Salein Cody, WY. Coleman and Barhaug are two young painters that are not only a pleasure to see new work from, but a shame to miss if you have the chance to visit for our First Fridays Art Walk on November 5th from 5-8 p.m.
