Mountain Trails Gallery is pleased to present the sculptures of wildlife artist Jim Gilmore and the cowboy imagery of Guest Artist Tanner Bryson. Gilmore, a native of Colorado, is known for his representational bronzes that capture the elegance, nobility, and physical beauty of North American wildlife such as Bison, Mountain Lions, Grizzly Bears, Fox, and Birds of Prey. All of his sculptures depict each animal in its true environment, whether poised on a rock, like “Full Throttle” or whimsically yawning like “Morning Stretch”, a sleepy fox. Jim’s bronzes present a window to the world of wildlife, so often far from our everyday lives. Our other featured guest is local artist and cowboy Tanner Bryson. Bryson, a native of Arizona and graduate of the University Of Arizona School of Fine Art, draws what he lives. He is a team-roping champion and horse trainer with deep roots in Arizona. Tanner’s pencil drawings capture the true nature of cowboy life from roping and branding calves, to teaching the next generation of children the ways of true ranching life. Join us as we welcome these two artists at a reception from 5-8 pm in Tlaquepaque, Suite A-201. Light refreshments will be served.
